Party Hire
Looking for the ideal London venue to hire for your event? At Southwark Sports lawn bowls club we have our own Clubhouse which we can make available for hire. Whether you are planning a wedding, a birthday party or any other type of private event we would be happy to assist. You would work closely with our Social Secretary and other members of the club to ensure that the space suits your requirements and will be tailored to your every need.
Our Clubhouse is equipped with everything that you are going to need to make your event run as smoothly as possible. We are furnished with tables and chairs that can seat up to 150 people. We have staging, lighting and a in-house PA all included within the hire cost so that you won’t have to hire equipment in. Perfect if you were thinking of hosting a party with DJ’s or perhaps, a live act for your private party. Our Clubhouse is fully equipped to accommodate both. We could even help you if you need to book a DJ or a live band.
The Clubhouse also has a fully equipped kitchen that would be ideal if you were thinking of providing catering for your event.
We are a private members club with our own licensed bar. We are able to determine our own prices for alcohol and soft drinks and we think that you will be pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced our drinks are and what great value for money hiring this venue can be.

Another key feature is that we have a small private car park set away from the main road and self contained within our grounds. Firstly, giving easy access to the Clubhouse and making it straight forward when setting up or taking down for an event. Secondly, we would be able to provide a limited amount of parking for some of your guests on the night of the event.
In addition, when hiring the venue you would be supporting a valuable social asset working within the local community.
